About the Perth Rifle Metallic Silhouette Club

Club History:

The Perth Rifle Metallic Silhouette Club (PRMSC) was formed in 1984 at the suggestion of Gary Harrison, a Perth Lever Action Rifle Club (PLARC) member in conjunction with Bob Ruwoldt and 4 or 5 others. Bob Ruwoldt as secretary of the PLARC, circulated the idea and arranged a meeting in the B.U.F.F.S. Lodge Hall in Grosvenor St, Mt Lawley.

The PRMSC then grew from that first meeting with the original members generally coming from the ranks of the PLARC.

The first shoots, for the first year & half were on the PLARC at paper targets, not steel, with the best score being 12 / 20 at the opening shoot. As time and interest grew the shoots moved to the full forty shots, steel targets and the clubs own premises.
